Once a year, the tranquil village of Morgenitz in the Usedom hinterland becomes a Mecca for ceramics lovers - that's when the Morgenitz pottery market takes place.

Every year on the last weekend in July, the popular pottery market takes place in the old village street and on the property of Ellen and Peter Krempl. Lovers of earthenware and pottery can purchase a fantastic selection of handicrafts from 40 to 50 stalls. The pottery market has been running for more than 30 years and has become a cult event on the island. There is also unusual food and a programme of music and theatre.
